“Our lab’s accreditation from The Joint Commission means that our patients can rest assured that the care they receive at CCH meets national standards for quality and safety,” said Dave Santoemma, CEO of CCH. “Our Laboratory staff are truly the unsung heroes who work behind the scenes to make sure we provide safe, quality care for our patients through scientifically rigorous testing and analysis, which is the backbone of diagnosis and treatment.”
The Joint Commission’s standards are developed in consultation with healthcare experts and providers, measurement experts and patients. They are informed by scientific literature and expert consensus to help healthcare organizations measure, assess and improve performance.
