Community Health Needs Assessment
Our hospital is guided by a fundamental goal to improve the health of the communities we serve. The Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA), which Central Carolina Hospital conducts in partnership with the Lee County Health Department, establishes in clear terms the unique needs of our community, ensures we have the information we need to work towards community health improvement goals, and provides an opportunity to improve coordination between hospital community benefits and other community health initiatives.
Throughout 2022, Central Carolina Hospital analyzed public health data, interviewed many local subject matter experts, and conducted online surveys to gain a better understanding of the healthcare needs in our region. Below are our overall findings and implementation plans to better serve our communities and neighbors. We look forward to using this information to further our mission of making communities healthier® now and in the future.
