Will Central Carolina Hospital file my insurance?
The Central Carolina Hospital billing office will file your insurance as a courtesy. The normal time to process a claim is 4-6 weeks. If you have general questions about your account, have a change of address or other demographic information, or would like to request an itemized statement, please call our Customer Service Department at 855.264.0863.
Can I make payment arrangements on my balance due after insurance?
Yes, you can call our billing office at 855.264.0863 to set up a payment installment plan.
Where do I make payments?
When mailing in payments, always be sure to include your Patient Account Number on your check and mail with the perforated payment stub from you statement. This helps to ensure your payment is posted to your account correctly. Mail payments to our Lockbox address at Central Carolina Hospital, P.O. Box 743742, Atlanta, GA 30374 or the address on your billing statement.
What type of billing can I expect to receive?
A summary statement of charges is mailed to you approximately 5 days after discharge. Periodic statements are then mailed to you to let you know if your insurance has processed the claim. You may also receive phone calls informing you of account status. Payment of co-pay and deductible amounts is expected at the time of service. However, once your insurance processes your claim, you will receive a statement for any additional co-pay, deductible, coinsurance or non-covered amount that you owe.
What happens after insurance pays and the patient owes a balance?
You will be mailed a series of statements for any balances that are your responsibility after your insurance pays. In addition, you may receive phone calls about your balance.

What other charges may I receive bills for when I am seen at Central Carolina Hospital?
Professional Fees for Physician Services are billed separately and are not included on your Central Carolina Hospital billing statement. These are separate claims filed to your insurance in addition to hospital service charges and you may receive separate billing statements for interpretive studies from the following:
